Hey Folks!
Recently, the team and I had the great pleasure of facilitating our Get to Action Capacity Building Session with a wonderful team of library leaders. As we went through the day, we were able to make core connections to the work each of them do, the decisions they make, and the way that they influence and are influenced by those around them.
Each time I lead a session, I look at what we each can takeaway. From this session, I was able to really connect how the intersections of title, position, ambition, motivation, and limitations all converge in one space. It highlighted the critical work that leaders do(whether they are by title or not) and how they make the work happen each day. My work as a facilitator is to help participants visualize and draw connections that are meaningful and actionable for them! And when working with aspiring and seasoned leaders, I emphasize the importance of doing the same for their teams and those that follow them.
Register for our Upcoming Nexus Online Workshops
Registration is live for the Fall 2025 Nexus Online Workshops! This session, we're featuring three learning paths: Leading &Learning in Organizations, Engaging Students & Learners, and Becoming an Entrepreneur!
Our Leading & Learning in Organizations track brings real engagement around what it means to recognize your place and positioning in our workspace, recognize challenges that are current and relevant to the work we do, whether we are entering the workforce, creating businesses and organizations, or finding new opportunities to learn and grow your skills and experience.

Until next time, let's go far!
